Help-Looking for a biker pub for Friday nights.

Post by PorkSword »

Hi all

We are a group of bikers, who for many years have met every Friday night . We started off in the Bay Horse at the top end of Totnes (a brilliant biker pub back in the day). Our next home was the Queen’s Arms between Totnes and Dartington, which has now shut down. We are looking for a new pub in which to meet on Friday nights. We like the Totnes area as it’s about central for members, some from Plymouth, some from the Torbay area, but all suggestions are welcome. We would prefer to meet in an existing biker pub, or at least a biker friendly pub. Anybody got any ideas?

Cheers

Paul

Dear Mr Big Bum

We did try the Blue Oyster Club, at first we had to pretend to be gay so they would let us in, trouble is we quickly realised we liked the gay scene, especially Jacko, who took to it like a duck to water. We got thrown out when we refused to go through the initiation ceremony, it was just too much to swallow..........!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good call ... or perhaps The Star at Liverton? We used to go there for SWB meets many moons ago, it was run by a biker then - I think it's changed hands since, but still might be worth a try :)
my mind not only wanders ... sometimes it leaves completely

The star is fine and still run by a biker called Darrel, the problem is its so small in the bar. Might go have a look in the Pig n Whistle.

Well we did go to the Pig n Whistle it was realy dead only about six people at one table untill we got there it was quite nice though and has a nice little area at one end where we can be ourselves without upsetting anyone else. |Good menu but a little expencive. I recon we will return next week for a second opinion, any one care to join us :D

OK,so we tried the Pig and Whistle for a few weeks. Unfortunately, its more of a restaurant than a pub, it shuts at 10:30, and a bunch of bikers in the summer would stick out like a sore thumb. So we are re grouping back at the Bull in Totnes town, before resuming our search for a new home.

We need a local biker to win the lottery, buy a country pub, and turn it into a good old fashioned ass kicking biker pub, 42" flat screen tellys on every wall showing bikers vids, barmaids with huge tits and small T shirts, stonking juke box, cheap beer, fish and chips for £3, and bus loads of sluts who will give you a blow job for 10p (and be grateful).

We went up there in the summer and the chap who took it over is a biker too, he's made a big improvement to the car park and even put in a dedicated parking bay for bikers.... inside is packed with biking memorabilia stuff on the walls etc...

He doesn't look the type to welcome gay bikers tho
