2nd April to 5th April. Get those points in

Towel trick wont work forever. Is it under 3 years old? then Microsoft should repair it for free, if its older than 3 years an X-Clamp mod is your best bet. Parts cost about £2 on eBay and its not too hard to fit yourself, plenty of guides on youtube. Apart from that its buy a new xbox time.

Best bet is to call Microsoft first, you never know maybe in warranty

X-Clamp does work more long term but chances are it will break again, maybe 1 month maybe 12 months. Has a better chance if its in a cool, well ventilated area. The mod worked fine on my machine and its still going a 4 months later.

You could spend the extra and get some better fans etc. I didnt bother.

I used this guide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-wni_SNFXU but you may wanna watch his previous two vids for info on howto open the Xbox etc. Or just bring it to me, I'll do it
