wheelies....

Post by Princess »

They are so much fun...

I've just been watching helmet cam footage of the 1098 being raped and its basically given me a semi lob on...

with a couple mates, hoisting wheelies down the road on your average sunday is probably the most fun you can have without doing a trackday.

Who hear enjoys a good wheely?

Andy 075544 32993, Honda CB500S. (don't laugh it's faster than my old CG125 :-)) Dropped once, got crash bungs now. I don't suffer from 'insanity', I enjoy every minute of it!

I find going round corners, and not just popping wheelies down a straight bit of road far more interesting and enjoying.

Maybe learn to ride the bike properly and you might find the same?

If you can teach me how to ride mate that would be great.

I do trackdays, but whats the point of riding fast around a corner on the public road?

I can do a 1.05 round pembrey if that helps, no valentino rossi but riding quickly round corners on the road is pointless.

So what you're saying is, you can't wheely?

Everyone has a munter now and again jase...

Tom, thats quite true with KTMs,same with old twins etc. basically after doing a wheely for a certain amoubnt of time, the pistons would basically start to run dry casuing big problems.....

Holding a ktm at high revs for a long period of time is not good.

I think wheelies are sooo addictive!

It bothers my conscience that if caught wheeling its an instant ban but i just love them!

I can only clutch it up but do so regularly, I have a friend who has an rsvr mille and he is constantly on the back wheel!
I used to be able to change gear whilst on the back wheel on a trials bike but im not confident enough (i haven't got big enough balls) to try it on my road bike
