Lost touch with Mick over recent years but I got to know him in the 70's when he was riding a GL1000, I think he sold that and bought a 650 Yam from Les Smale... and the list grows like with most of us.

A very solid, down to earth guy and I remember he was a human database of knowledge and experience.

Very sad news :( When you have the details John I'll do my very best to be there.

I have a horrible feeling our farwell to Mick might conflict with a Training course I'm on next Thurs/Fri - I'll be there with you guys in mind if not in body.

Rest in peace my friend.

I heard this just a few days ago through the Mayflower as I am a member

I went to see him about two months ago and he seems so well then so this has been a shock

He was such a nice guy and I am sure many people will miss him

RIP big guy

This is the information that I have received today regarding the funeral arrangements for Mick

If there are any changes it might be difficult for me to update so please check before making any special arrangements

Hi,

For those of you that don't know, I am sorry to have to report that Mick Gullick sadly succumbed to cancer last week.

The details, given to me by the Funeral Director, Andrew Gist, are as follows :

The Service will be on Wednesday 9th June at 10:45 in Torrington Parish Church followed by a cremation at Barnstable Crematorium at 12:30.

Andrew, the Funeral Director, contacted me yesterday with the details and also said that Mick had visited him two weeks ago to make the arrangements. He is going to have a motorcycle hearse (apparently one of his local friends has one) and will be taken on a last ride to the seaside, very fitting.

Donations are requested instead of flowers please to North Devon Hospice (North Devon Hospice, Deer Park, Newport, Barnstaple, EX32 0HU) where Mick was being looked after in his final days.

Afterwards at the Torrington Arms, New St, Torrington, Devon, EX38 8BX (on A386 West of Torrington apparently).
