I'd agree Tavistock - Liskeard via Gunnislake/Callington is much better

Tavi - Gunni - horrible road with really nasty corners and loads of traffic. Go via Launceston, is rather nice

Cheers for all the replies guys, deffo gonna try em out!! went out wiv sum mates an we headed up to lynmouth via barnstable, then back via minehead and taunton. sum awesum clifftop roads past lynmouth!!
