TYRE

Post by Tim zx6r »

I got a chuffing nail in my front tyre last night when i was out on the jolly with a friend. Ive had car tyres repaired in the past for about 5 quid but just wondering if any garages repair tyres for bikes as i dnt really want to spend out for a new tyre if i can avoid it as theres loads of life left in the one i have.

Also if i did have to buy a new tyre do you recomend buying same make as rears or mix and match? i have a pair of dunlop sport max z something on there at the min all comments would be appreciated.

Thanks Tim

If its in the centre of the tyre then most places will prob repair it.
I've had mismatched tyres but always had same brand. Had bridgestone 014 on the ront and a 021 rear. Never noticed a difference between 014 front and rear.
