Would't it be nice

Post by goatpants »

If we had a circuit near us. There was talk of one being built just outside South Molton years ago but planning was refused.

I doubt any new tracks will ever be built. This country is to over populated, theres nowhere remote enough to get away with it without people whining about the noise.

Only place I can think that could possibly stand a chance is Longleat, because of the amount of land owned by the estate, although the Monkeys may put up a protest.

The only monkeys that are not human around here are the apes that walk around somerset with trackies tucked into their socks, i'm sure they'll be too busy at the job centre signing on or in macdonalds getting a happy meal to notice if a circuit was built in somerset

Oh and Longleat is just outside the Somerset border in wiltshire (Longleat, Warminster, Wiltshire, BA12 7NW) :p

Davidstow near Camelford - already has a history of top level racing, not too far from A30.

Not much goes on there now, just imagine a racing facility with perhaps some wind & solar power to set the balance (well to shut up the greenies & help with the planning).

Really?? didnt have ani idea of that. That probably pre ww2???

Reckon Dunkeswell aerodrome would be prime candidate for it.... If only... :-??
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

That's right, quite a bit of land there too, the runways can still be seen but are mostly in a bad way.
