Oh b*ll*cks!!

I don't want to make you feel worse, but I have a suspicion they won't give you the option option of a course as it's more than 50% over the limit (and your age won't help) :cry:

Fill in the form, send it back, and see what evidence they provide.

Gdynia Way is the bit they've just made two-way on the way out of Plymouth, down past Farraday Mill. If you looked, there's plenty of signs warning of the average speed cameras all the way from Cattedown roundabout through to embankment road, and probably 6 - 8 sets of big yellow cameras overhead ....... no brown envelopes here .....

Such bad luck Jim :(

Seems like it's a bit of a hotspot...

http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/Lack-si ... story.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I've been on the course...only thing I learned was that I could go faster on dual carriageways - I'd thought they were 60 mph but they're 70!

Good luck... I've had 2 parking fines in the last 2 months, could've done without the expense, but at least they don't affect my licence...

From Cattedown roundabout you now drop down Gdynia Way. This used to be two-lanes with both going in towards Plymouth. After some major roadworks this was changed to 2-way traffic, and out-bound traffic now runs along this route. I thought the speed limit was 40 through there, but clearly not. This is where the average speed cameras are. The road then goes into dual carriageway along the embankment (beside the river) and there are two fixed speed cameras (Gatso's) one by Laira train depot and the other by Sainsburys. The speed limit past both of those is 40mph.

Must admit, I'd be surprised if I was under 30 along the first bit :erm: :oops:

You sure it's from average speed cameras?
I thought they were normally forward facing, bit difficult to get front number plate on a bike
