Hi, you're Yeovil based aren't you? I'm afraid the only places I know are Exeter based, but if that's good enough speak to Derek at CMS

Re: heli coil inserts
to be honest if you buy a kit they are really simple to do yourself. Just use a bit of care and time and they are fairly pain free!
Otherwise if it helps I know a custom bike painter in Wells, he might be able to point you in the direction of a bike mechanic?

This may be of some use.........use them myself mainly on alloy cylinder heads [spark plug thread repair] works well

Re: heli coil inserts
I would not advise helicoil they are a sprung thread & likely just to pull out if you do them as tight as you first did,if you used a torque wrench how come they pulled out? I always use timecert's they are a solid thread & very strong I have fitted them to brake callipers in the past when customers have stripped them out due to not useing a torque wrench! Also for spark plug hole's heli coils can be bad as they can push into cylinders timecert will not do this, downside is timecert's are expensive compared to helicoil but worth every penny! Hope this helps thanks John jb-motorcycleservices.co.uk
