Ride out, Camp & BBQ

Post by Red5 »

OK, am out of the loop here as not riding, or able to get out much at all so to make up for it...

...Who'd be up for a little festive end of season weekend in the sunny climbs of South Devon. Looking at mid/end September to have a SWB's bash here in Kingsbridge.

Arrive Saturday daytime, set up tents etc, ride out in the afternoon for anyone who wants to then return for beverages, BBQ and jolly spiffing antics and general good time and party.

Breakfast could be on BBQ pending on the hangover stakes but can arrange that nearer the time.
I can organise the BBQ side of things as probably still won't be riding.
Then Sunday, disperse as you sober up

Off road parking is available to park next to your tents.
Might charge a little to get plenty of food, drinks, soft and alcoholic etc to save people carrying on bikes.
Drinking water will be available on tap at all times.
What do people think??

Oh, molesting the horses will not be tolerated, by the horses or us... :)) :))
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Exact weekend TBC will let know hopefully in the next 7 days. Looking at end Mid/End Sept, weather pending.

Camping facilities will be field/paddock or garden with uninterrupted views straight down the Salcombe estuary. Fresh running water on tap. Toilet in the house & probably get a porta-loo.
Will see about running power out to where tents will be.
Unfortunately, there are many close by neighbours so pit bike probably not a great idea this time around... (By order of the boss), I'll have not been here long enough to afford to upset anybody. Maybe next year =)) :))
It's weird, a decent party, no one seems to mind. Add in a motor and people will whinge about disturbing the peace...

That said, early morning alarm will be provided by enthusiastic 3 yr old. 630 alright for everyone. hahaha
Family and offspring will be welcome to if wanted to join the shenanigans.

Sounds great, I won't be playing pit bikes, still feel bad for that, although my knock hurt like hell too, good job for whiskey to help with that side of things.
