Twised Oak Ide - New Bike Nights 2015

Post by breedsy »

Hi! We've recently opened a new pub in Ide, just outside of Exeter - It's called "The Twisted Oak". The managing director and my self are both bikers with a Triumph 995 st and a Kawasaki ZX6r! Being newly opened we are planning events for the year and was thinking BIKE NIGHT(S)! We have a large parking facility that will accommodate quite alot of bikes and a quality menu if people needed a bite to eat - BBQ also towards the summer months. It would be great to host a few bike nights.. but I need a bit of help rounding up a handful of people and the best nights etc to do it on! We're more than happy to be on the map for bikers!

Please let me know your ideas!

Welcome, Would be cool to have a couple evenings out.
Used to go there 5 odd years ago. Fancy putting a link to the menu so we can have a look.

It has had a major refurb and has a contemporary feel now.
The menu is on this link http://www.thetwistedoak.co.uk/menu.pdf
If that doesn't work use this like http://thefarmersunion.co.uk/menu.pdf (it's the sister pub with the same menu)
The whole menu is served all day from 10am

Hi, Welcome to the mad house,

Sounds great, always good to have somewhere new to go. Reckon you'll have to take a stab at the best evenings to host a bike night, they seem to be around all week long at various different places.
Be great to support a new local location.
Let us all know when you start, sure some of us will show up to start the ball rolling... :D

Good luck with the new venture to

Do you have sport on TV there?

If so, will you be showing BSB, WSB and MOTOGP this year?

Monday sounds like a good idea! On the bike nights we will be showing classic WSB rounds. We currently do not have sports as we've only been open a week today!

Every other Saturday afternoon with a barbecue would be good during the summer months if only to be different. :-bd

Something for the weekend sounds a good idea,Sunday's for me is the most boring day of the week so a get together and a chat about bikes would be great
