Playing a banjo might raise an eyebrow or two though
What was it Mark Twain said? ..... "The definition of a gentleman is a man who owns a banjo, and doesn't play it" :P
Mind you, if you play a banjo you will have heard that before - and a million others :D Which is why I gave it up and went on to flat top guitar - that and the fact that I was crap :(

Oh and welcome aboard!

Hi
Thanks for the warm welcome. I might have made it sound more than it is (well I am a banjo player, sort of)
I struggle to bend my my knee, have to sit on the pillion seat to change gear and its pretty uncomfortable after about 10 miles, so I am going to fit a forward peg and hopefully make a gearchange for it if it works ok. I've ordered crash bars from crazy iron (Russia) don't know if anyone here has bought anything from them, cause on the MT07 there is nothing to mount it on and yes I have heard most of the jokes about banjo players sad thing is the're mostly true

Banjo & Jock - a bit off-topic here, but as banjo pickers I take it you both know about the 13th annual Cornish Bluegrass Festival at Hendra from the 16th to 18th September?

Hi Dave,

Have you considered the Kliktronic device to change gears. I cannot change gears with my foot and I'm having the device fitted to my bike.

Cheers
Steve.
