When did that happen and where?Millsyboy wrote:Bike should be sorted next month. I am going to be avoiding mud from now on, especially on a corner.
We did a ride a few months back and got to a right, left, right that dipped in the left turn and had mud patch under so trees. Unfortunatly the front wheel hit the mud whilst lent over a bit and that was that.Jug_Inspector wrote:When did that happen and where?Millsyboy wrote:Bike should be sorted next month. Agreed, it's too far for most of us down here. Beach racing is popular in the Channel Islands also, but again it's difficult, pricey and time consuming getting there. If some Mablethorpe-style beach racing could be organised somewhere nearer us i.e. Weston-Super-Mare or Brean Sands, I guarantee there's be a big turnout from the Southwestern grasstrack riders - counting solos and sidecars there's a lot out there. I'd certainly be there with my grasstrack outfit and I know of quite a few others that would too; the oganisors'd have to fight us off with pointy sticksDucaki wrote:I did Mablethorpe beach race last weekend for the first time. Great fun way to get your winter bike fix, nothing prepares you for the sand. The speedway and grasstrack guys were awesome, I on the other hand was not.
Just a shame it's so far.
