Infamy (yet again)

Post by MellowYellow »

NIGHTMARE ride home from Haynes.

Filtered for miles at temp lights out of Shepton.

More queues at B&W as marshalls were directiong traffic for some event or other.

Thennnnn...Pensford (A37) closed and diversion at Chelwood roundabout. Ran into more miles of filtering due to a road works digger blocking one lane at Burnett lights.

All this turned Keynsham into a car park, especially because of moronic 1-way in High St. Swiftly followed by lane closure at top of Bristol Hill (A4) Brislington causing massive tail-backs. Doubled normal time for journey.
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That is why God made fast motorcycles,

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Wells, up & down to A38 and home in no time.

Wrists got some great exercise though.
