I am current in the Netherlands on a business trip and left my hotel it was sunny and dry, drove 5 minutes I got heavy rain and lightning. Further 5 minute got hail the size of marbles. Another 5 minutes experiance day my first mini tornado, horizontal rain, branches ripped off trees only light was from the lightning.

5 minutes later it was all gone.

Suddenly I like the British weather and maybe it’s not so bad after all

I experienced one of those in Turkey years ago. I think you tend to look at the locals when this sort of thing happens. They weren't acting like this was a biblical event so I just got on with the day as they did. :)
