Just seen this,
Don't crash it up boys and girls, keep it steady and remember there'll be quick lock down for bikes again if everyone's riding like a total tit...ok!!!! https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/cor ... otorbikes/
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..
This is a great result and have to say if your sensible this gives you a great opportunity to get out on your bike.
The basis of this suggests you can ride your bike and you could even ride with other people on your bike what you 100% cant do is meet and have a chat at the start or the end of a ride.
But as a solo rider or a rider with a pillion (from your household) you can ride anywhere in England (just not Wales, Scotland or Northen Ireland

Pay at pump
Social distance by more then 2 meters from anybody near to you (yes this means stop walking, step to the side, walk backwards away from somebody)
Do not engage in conversation with any more then 1 person per outing
If you do engage with one person for conversation do so in an open space not inside.
And as just one other point..... Keep your crash helmet on its a darn more protective then a cloth face mask

Already got my Friday afternoon ride planned, gonna ride over to Weymouth and meet a mate I haven't seen since October.
Will probably be out again Saturday and/or Sunday too.
Y'see, if you lot were in the 21st century you'd have intercoms and could both ride in a group and talk to each other without needing to stop in a layby and shout in each other's ears over the noise of your engines!
Anyone wanna buy a spare Sena SMH10?
Probably not, as you may have to talk to me....

Well it looks like Wednesday ride to work is back on. I have a 50 mile each way ride from Westonzoyland to Trowbridge, lots of different possibilities across the Mendips and as Wendy is volunteering for the charity get to do it as a group of 2. Glad we got Wendy’s striple on the dyno last week
Honda CB1000 GT (on order), Honda CB1000r, Aprilia Tuono V4R for the track, Yamaha RD250E,
Putting the finishing touches to some upgrades on the Triumph so will be ready very soon now for a medium-length shakedown run with a flask of coffee and a sarnie or two. A certain picnic area on the hills above Bampton look favourite; great views, and a decent walk can be had if I can be bothered to pack my daps - ask yer old dad about them .
Battery in my 990 has decided it doesn't really want to join me for a ride out..
I do remember it being a bit marginal at the end of last season... so new one ordered just to be on the safe side..
Fingers crossed it gets here before Friday.
