Sunday 21st June

Look in here for local ride outs...

Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

How do you do that then? I gota TomTom.

Try this link.

https://app.box.com/s/w286kilmpnr0ntcxjh86qskaqfisryq6

That should be a small .itn file that you place in the itinerary folder on your TomTom.
Then when you open the software that "route" should be available to select as an itinerary, just select it and it should then calculate the route, if so check it carefully to make sure it hasn't gone off track.

Will make sure that I have food and a flask with me then. Sounds like might need to add the ruck sack.

Looks like we possibly will have 16 riders. I'll throw out two options. Either we go as one group with corner drop off or break it down to groups of 6, 15 minutes apart. If so, I'll lead the first wave from the start at 09.00. Second group leaves at 09.15 and if needed third group goes at 09.30. My briskish (but not Robbo fast) pace for the first group should not be so slow that the racers behind run in to us. So we need to sort who is in what group before Sunday. If we do this it looks like I've the first wave ready and the rest of you can sort yourselves out; copy and past the lists below.....Of course as it will be raining expect a fair few drop outs........

Group1, the good looking bunch, leaving at 09.00:-
1 Brian-ptolemyx
2 royb
3 pick up Phil-Robbo87 at Hemyock
4,5,6 pick up Wendy n' Phil and Kata at Wellington memorial

Group2, the young cool ones, leaving at 09.15:-
1
2
3
4
5
6

Group3, the laid back lads, leaving 09.30:-

I think we're still in, just watching the weather though. As you know...I ride in anything but Claire is a bit of a girl if there is even a sniff of rain forecast.

(I doubt she'll see this :)):)

Not bothered which group and will just tag on as the motorcade comes through Chard.
Group 2 or 3 would be fine, or could even just to follow on afterwards if it means you could manage with just 2 groups.

A stop at Castle Cary would be good, not sure I can do whole thing in one go. If I'm buggered on the day will text Nick or Simon .
