You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

cruiser / classic / café / 125cc friendly ride outs

Post by tony volusia »

just testing the water to see how many cruiser / classic and cafe racer bikers along with 125cc riders would be interested in nice easy friendly
ride outs , of cause anyone can come and join in but remember these will be easy paced friendly ride outs , so some of the sport bikers may not be interested in these rides .
27th sept at 9am meet at woodys cafe / truck stop sourton then up exeter to pick up anyone at Mcdonalds then dawlish road and onto paignton front to stop for breww and something to eat , then head for buckfastleigh and over the moors past princtown to tavistock and finally to okehampton to betty cottles
have spoken to my local pub as they have a large car park and are happy for us to meet or end up there at the end of rides
and as they hold classic car rallies there if the response is good and numbers attending good they would be happy to hold biker related evenings or weekend do,s ie bbq bike show , trade stands bands etc
so we all have to walk before we run so need to see what kind of response if any we get
sorry if this sounds like im ignoring the riders of sport bikes , i am not but feel you may find the slower pace not to your liking but still happy for as many as possible who would like to attend to let me know in the comments
then we will decide on a ride venue
cheers for taking the time to read this

You'll need to decide a route to get people along.

You ride, your route, your pace.

Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Hi Tony,
Yes great idea , I have 1700 yam Warrior cruiser If we can have reasonable start times, plenty of stops think it would be a more relaxed ride out,
I know its up to whoever is organising the ride to sort the route & so forth so thats great i think you would have a good response as long as you promote it for who it is aimed at,
Yes anyone welcome of course that would be great👍

I work shifts so my days off move every week by 1 day but i am up for rides or biker evenings work permitting👍😉
cheers Wayne.
