Excellent trip, many thanks to Brian for organizing it.

We got so lucky with the weather.
No rain on Friday, Paul & I did a route through the Afan forest area on the way over and enjoyed some spectacular roads & scenery.

Saturday we awoke to heavy rain but it had mostly moved over by the time we set off, so we just had a little bit of rain in the first hour. The rest of the day was fine and then had a little rain just as we headed back to the hotel.

Sunday was bright and sunny and we did a lovely route back across to civilization.

Top weekend, great roads and great company.

Last time I did it I went over to Brynamman, turned round and went back. They should put a bypass between Brynamman and Abercraf to link with theA4067 to Sennybridge.

A great SWB weekend away in the wilds of Wales was on the cards, and sure enough, great roads, great company and great laughs were had.

Big thanks to Brian for organising, planning the routes and leading this annual bash. Big thanks are also due to the long-suffering Alan for TEC-ing us with much patience for the entire weekend. :-bd :-bd .

To add to Brian's statistics, my old Triumph Sprint covered 539.9 miles home to home @ 46.2 mpg overall . . . . . thirstier than some of you probably because I had to pedal harder to keep up - I had it singing like a well tuned 2 stroke at some stages! :)): .

A couple of pic's to follow.
