I know this thread is a little old but the link does not work so does anyone else have a how to for a steering damper? As I got one with the bike but it's loose in a bag with no fitting instructions lol

After having no steering damper on the Triumph 675 I borrowed for Portimao I can tell you that things get quite scary at 140 mph as the front end is desperate to shake its head all over the place had to literally pull back on the bars the whole way down the straights just to hold it straight. you don't realise what an important job they do until you don't have one.

Just need to go to the gym.
Some people find it easier to push the bars to lock out rather than pulling back on them, can be worth a try.
