Well...........I'm back!

Post by OffshoreSkipper »

Hello Everyone,

Well my life has changed a lot since I was last on here in 2013; I've still got the Nuda and still living in Torquay. I've gone from being a commercial dive/survey vessel, skipper/owner; to creating a wildlife rescue centre called ELM Wildlife in 2018. Still trying to make up my mind if that was good, bad or mad. :-?

I've not stopped riding during this time, but ELM is a 7 day a week job. I've done a fair amount of riding on my own, plus riding with a couple of groups over the past 3 or 4 years.

Why am I back, well I was chatting to Simon this morning and he was telling me about this forum. :oops: I'd forgotten I was a member, I'm busy, that's my excuse. The Nuda isn't being a good girl, still riding her, but she needs some tlc, hence my chat with Simon.

Looking forward to riding with you guys.

Thank you for the welcome Jug, I see you've got a very nice stable of bikes; very jealous.

Thank you for the welcome Church. I am still riding it at the moment, but it's not a very rewarding experience at the moment; I hope we can get it sorted.

I already can't make up my mind, with the info I've had so far; hoping Simon can sort me out.

I checked the other day, after you said that; 24 on the road, mind you the SORN ones may be waiting for a glimpse of sun.

Looking at 'How many left' (registered & SORN) it thinks there are;

Nuda 900 - 50
Nuda 900 ABS - 4
Nuda 900 R - 65
Nuda 900 R ABS - 16

So 135 in total in the UK.. which makes them pretty rare I think.

Compared that to my old 990 Superduke, there's still 801 of them out there.
