Just a reminder to watch out for gravel.

Post by Jug »

I just want to say be careful out there.

I was out yesterday and rode the A396 all the way from Tivy up to Dunster.
Several of the corners towards the middle of that section had gravel on the apex.
All good but did have a few moments where I could feel the back sliding out, and sometimes even the front too.

Other than that it was good day. :)

Been there about 2 years ago but was unable to save and had a low side as the front washed out. Luckily it was a slow speed so only a few £££ to sort out.

Well spotted and a good reminder Rich. Just because the sun is shining doesn't mean the roads are perfect. I do that stretch of the A396 regularly and to be honest it's no worse for hazards than anywhere else. They are roads not a race track....

....I keep having to remind myself
