powder coating wheels

Post by billinom8s »

its been a few years since i've had any powder coating done so am a bit out of touch as to how much people are charging, who to avoid and who is worth a trip.

Has anyone got any experiences with local companies?

I've heard good reports about these people: I.C.S. Units 1 & 2 Simmons Place, Kingsmill Industrial Estate, Cullompton, Devon, EX15 1BH - 01884 34506. https://industrialcoatingsupplies.co.uk/

If you're getting both done, 1st Choice every time.

However, they couldn't do my MV rear wheel as they couldn't guarantee the colour match (the silver has an unusual metallic finish, apparently) ....... so I ended up using a company called South West Wheel Repairs (I think :-? ) on Marsh Barton, in behind Eurocarparts. Quality of finish was absolute perfection, and I'd highly recommend them - not cheap at just over £100 for the one wheel though x_x
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....
