Sunday 10th May.

Post by Robbo87 »

I'm thinking of taking my semi-annual ride down to Loui's Cafe in Callington on Sunday. Anyone fancy tagging along? If so then details later this p.m.

Seems there may be some interest so -
- DETAILS: Meet at Cafe Earth, Tedburn Road, Exeter EX4 2HD around 10.00 a.m. ready to leave at 10.15 sharp.
Route is old A30 to Launceston, south on the A388, left at Kelly Bray, left at the A390, left to LOUI'S CAFE - coffee/snack stop.
A390 to Tavistock, A386 north. right on to A3072 at Folly Gate, right on to A377 at Copplestone, left on to A3072 at Crediton, left at Bickleigh Bridge to Wetherspoons Tiverton - coffee, de-brief/tall tales.

Thanks to Art and Dave for tagging along today, great company chaps, thanks. Mostly clutter free roads were had, the only traffic to speak of was a bit between Launceston and Kelly Bray and Gunnislake to Tavistock, other than that they were clear enough to let us see and mostly avoid the potholes - and there were a few shockers  !
Loui's cafe was absolutely rammed with bikes when we got there, probably the most I've seen. The cafe's new (to me) ordering/service system worked well and we weren't waiting more than a few short minutes for our bacon and egg banjos.

Deferably - the car park's now enlarged and fully tarmac'd and they've streamlined the outdoor service system - they issue you an electronic pager thingy that sounds off to show the waitress where you're sat.
I noticed that just up the road the Engine House cafe had quite a few bikes too.
