Insurance on others bikes?

Post by bikerz »

My uncle on his CB1300, got a renewal for £201 from bennets. I had a bet i could beat it online, and the good news is i can get it for £140 but thats without riding others bikes, which he must have (he is 40 so they should let him) but this one doesnt! So which ones do let u ride others bikes TP?

Cheers

Insurance on my 400 allows me to ride anyone elses bike TP...I never had that in previous yrs...

Was quite cheep to add bikes to the same policy though...adding a gs500e was only £50 (whoppy do) and the TL wasn't much more :D

Depends on the Policy rather than the "broker" so hunt around and see what you can find...I found Carol Nash lately are getting quite good price wise...they used to always quote me stupid in the past LOL

was with CIA for years, always had tpo cover on other peoples bikes with them, even aged under 25. they used to be pretty cheap too, only changed to carol nash as they were better on price with modifications declared (£160 for gsxr7-11 thank you very much :D ). although ive since heard some horror stories from people about trying to get money out of carol nash in the event of a claim, so dont know if i will be staying with them...
