Mate, everyone is a Dude or a Mate to me, but I am still going by what I said, if you need a hand, and you go college I will take a look. Hell if you let me know I would take a look if you wanted. Just willing to help.

And Jon B, you can use fully Synthetic, but it does make the bike choke a bit and since this seems to be a problem, probably best to stick to moped 2 stroke as it aint so thick.

Oh and if ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL else fails, you rings might of gone on your piston, but I doubt it, what mileage is it?

Umm nah, not to bad. My mums ped has 20,000 on it, and my 50 had 30,000 on it.

But if you have had no engine work done, then probably best to get new rings, should help with the smoking and help the bike seizing 8)

Oh and my bike has near on 50,000 miles 8)

So do you go Kings road?

keep an eye on it if its using lots of water and theres steam in the exhaust, that isn't usually a good sign :? i'd suspect base or head gasket may haave gone and waters getting into the cylinder

well i bought the bike frma breakers over a year ago, and i havent myself put any water in it, my dad might have but i havent! so i dont think its usein it quickly, not sure if it was steam or smoke, but it was normally all cloudy and stuff wen its cold in the mornins!

shouldnt worry too much even if it is a gasket gone cos theres bugger all to small 2-strokes, would be cheap as chips to fix. but worth getting someone to look at it if you can, save it from getting any worse or causing any bigger problems
