music while riding
Now not sure if its legal but can you listen to music like with an mp3 player with headphones on while riding? Also how distracting is it even at quite a low level? well tempted to find out but just thought i would ask [you] with all your years of riding skills!!! You do wear a ear piece while you are doing your riding lessons/test, i know he/she is only giving you directions though

I personally use my i-pod. I had to buy different earphones as the ones supplied hurt like hell with the helmet pressure. I dont personally see the difference between using MP3 player and wearing earplugs for riding, as both will reduce the level of ourside noise. I have never (as far as I know!) been distracted by the music, and can make some long boring motorway journeys more relaxing and enjoyable...but maybe thats just me?

I do, Just loud enough so I can hear the music but quiet enough I can hear any loud noises etc. I use my mobile phone though which is quite cool as its got a hands free and auto answers, so MP3 pause, call answers and I can speak and hear them VERY well, call ends and MP3 continues
Riding + ACDC = Me riding like a Loon though. although I do keep the air guitar down to a minimum

Georgie, I know you used the YOU function...but coincidently enough...The ear pieces you see the darksiders wearing are the hearing aids they now need, after riding their noisy tractors for so long...georgie_d wrote:thought i would ask [you] with all your years of riding skills!!!
