But alls good, I wouldn't mind riding your blade but you gotta sort those brakes out first LOL.

i used to think that when i had an SV but believe me the mighty inline 4 has enough engine braking if you are in the right gear!

This thread has made me giggle. If whitetrash is anything like me what a lucky lad he is, not to mention how lucky his ladies are  . Nuff said
It is not the horrors of war which trouble me but the unseen horrors of peace

twins beat IL4's for engine braking hands down im afraid and lets be honest....an SV isn't a bike tbh

and clunk, yes but your engine is de-tuned for less top end and more torque like a harley

and Andrew, the women in Taunton are pretty sweet compared to the down syndrome munters from plymouth   (harsh but fair comment)

The SV has a 60 deg. engine layout   I could have sworn it was a 90degree "V", THE SAME AS THE TL
What probably gives the SV a greater sense of engine braking is its lighter weight, rather than the engine - the TL still has two 500cc slugs hitting around 12:1 compression........

(the Rotax/Aprilia engine is the 60 degree one  )
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....
