He has got one small point which is correct tho.

You dont have to read or reply, its an open public forum.

If you do not like it, you can always push back or click in the top right of the screen and all your tears of anger will vanish.

Saying that, hes boring and brings no entertainment...Where I on the other hand

I'd say age or experience is irrelevant - it's attitude that counts. A biker is someone who rides for the pleasure of it not just the necessity. A biker is someone who stops to help another motorcyclist stopped beside the road, or checks they're OK. A biker is someone who ....... oh testicles!! who gives a cr*p?

At the end of the day what does it matter? I ride a bike and I enjoy it - I don't need a tag to say what I am, and if you do, doesn't that something about you anyway?

I've owned a bike continuosly for over 25yrs; Have ridden countless thousand miles in all weathers all over Europe; went years with a bike as a sole means of transport; have modified just about every bike I've ever owned; have always serviced my own bikes; have owned just about every style of bike there is; but because I now generally drive the car to work rather than ride the bike, because the current bike doesn't do more than a couple of thousand miles a year, because I prefer not to go out when it's p*ssing down, etc., etc., etc., I am no longer a biker ..... well so be it. I really can't say that I care that much
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

Handle stressful situations like a dog - If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away

Whilst you may not have said it specifically it was implied in this statement. Or are you the only one allowed to pick on one small piece of an overall post and take it out of context to raise a reaction :?

I note you chose not to highlight any other part of my post as it may not have served your point, so choose to do the same in my reply

I say again

Nowhere did I say that someone who chooses to ride in fair weather is not a Biker.

I actually said, a few Sunny Sundays.

I don't think anyone here looks out of their living room windows at the pouring rain and thinks, great, I'll go for a ride :?

Least of all me.

The point I was making was about mileage.

I prefer to ride on dry days, but I still do 10,000-15,000 miles a year.

I look out the window at the rain and at my nice warm car and still think I;ll take the bike to work today. :D

Does that make me a REAL biker and not a fair weather RIDER like you then??

I started riding at 18.

Didn't take my car test till I was 32 so the bike was my main form of transport for 14 years.

Still use the bike for the everyday commute, rain or shine.

All I'm saying is that I don't relish the cold and wet, and if I don't have too, I don't ride in it.

Commuting aside, I do 10,000 miles a year in my leisure time :D

So what's the problem
I do prefer to ride in the dry weather.
I do 15,000 miles a year, mostly for leisure.
As I said, 10,000 miles a year is my leisure mileage, leaving about 5000 miles a year commuting, which means most of my mileage is leisure.
You really are not very bright are you.

You keep answering me with the same personal attack. It doesn't matter what the thread is. It seems to be your only way to make your point.

You contridict (change your mind, in case it was too big of a word for you) yourself all the time and as said by another member only use a small part of what people write to quote them to make it look loke your right.

As said before on another post way before you crawled onto the site it really does not matter that type of biker you are as long as you enjoy it. So again your whole thread is as pointless as anything you have written in the last month.

Ok, you said ealier that I contradicted myself.

You said;

"Make your mind up just now you wrote that you preferto ride in the dry weather and it was mostley 15000 miles for leasure only"

To which I replied

"So what's the problem
I do prefer to ride in the dry weather.

As I said, 10,000 miles a year is my leisure mileage, leaving about 5000 miles a year commuting, which means most of my mileage is leisure.

I'm still waiting for you to show me exactly where I contradicted myself :?
