Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Thanks Si for arranging this one.
Was really great to get out in the sun shine and munch some miles.

Had to have some strong words with my bike sat nav for embarrassing me in front of my group after getting a little lost on the way to Minehead. But once sorted out seem to be able to keep to the planned route.

Great to see so many people out on a ride and worked really well with the groups of 6 and different start times.

Really enjoyed it.

Oh and came home and got my first Covid Jab so result of a day B-)

Cheers to all that turned up to play yesterday. Weather was pretty good, roads were empty for most of the run. Company was as always top notch.

As far as I'm aware the only casualty of the day was my ktm, there's always a first time.
Looks like the seal Behind the clutch slave cylinder and that the push rod goes through has decided it's time is over.

So new seal, replace the oil and filter and mineral oil for the clutch to be ordered, then fingers crossed.....

That's a fairly common problem on the 1190Adv I believe. Never happened on mine but I think plenty have replaced their slave cylinders with ones from Oberon
KTM 1190ADV - sold
KTM 790ADV - sold
KTM 790 Duke - sold
Honda CB300R - sold
Honda NC750X DCT - sold
Yamaha MT-07 Y-AMT - very modern
1981 Suzuki TS185ER - very much not modern 🙄

I was reading on that. The slave is fine, it's the push rod seal that's let the side down.

Bit late on replying but thanks Si for sorting the route, Thanks to the group leaders and tecs.
Had to get home slightly early so missed out on the end at Pen Inn. Really fun day, great company and just about adequate mick taking.
Catch y'all soon...
