Well call me simple if you like, I've been called worse.

But if its a bikers calendar. Why the F... do we need costumes ETC.

Having seen the MAN of WAR one with Jay featured, that's what we should be doing. Simple, sensible price, fun.

Its getting to sound more like a commercial promotional thing than a bikers calendar.

Point taken 1 Blue.

I have offered the members ,who have volunteered to be in the calender, a choice of weather to be in a costume or not.
The result of the final pics will be down to the people in the photograph at the end of the day.

As Speedy has pointed out, it would sell better if it were made more interesting with BIKERS in a location/venue with more action in the photograph than a boring picture of someone just standing by their bike.

The interesting thing about all of this is that ALL the people in it are keen to do this for the interest of raising funds for the SWB site and charities.

I am appreciate that it's taken considerable effort for the guys and the girls to come forward and volunteer from what started out as a suggestion to becoming a commitment.
Even though there are some elliments of sceptisism, there are over 300 orders already for the calender.

If anyone wishes to stand down from being in the calender then please feel free to PM me so that I can re-organise the Month Page that they have asked to be in.

I don't suppose you'd like to volunteer to be in it Blue, by any chance (dressed or undress!) :D

I like the idea of raising some money for the site and charities, and I like the idea of a SWB calender.

I'm just noting that it seems to be becoming a very complex operation. We've had enough trouble trying to organise rideouts, clothing and track days.

If I was going to buy or support a SWB calendar it would probably be about SWB members and their bikes. I don't think it needs lots of costumes specially made and photographed in over contrived locations. I mean WTF do we need to be on a warship for, unless its one of our navel members on their own ship.

I'd like to see a picture of a rideout on the cover. Each month would have a picture of a biker or group of biker, with their bikes in an interesting situation that is related to them and their bikes. They would probably be wearing their biking gear, how much flesh and or chest hair they displayed would be up to them.

Gerry, I think your taking on a whole load of work and effort, which is very kind of you to offer, but it sounds like the ideas of costumes are taking over from the SWB idea.

Well I've had my say, sorry if its out of place as I'm not involved and don't intend to be if its not about SWB.

Blue,

Every photo that is being organised is based upon a particular member/members of SWB (including their bikes).

Without giving anything away, lets say I was a brick layer for example or it is my pass time/hobby, the type of photo shoot would be something like, me and my bike say in a construction site wearing something to do with that scene, ie, hard hat, etc etc, its not as such a costume but what reflects the job/hobby/pass time/location you are in.

I think there is a photo with all members going in the calender as well

I hope this makes sense.

CALLING ON ALL THE FEMALE MEMBERS.

I have been given special permission to inform you that 'The Royal Marine Commandos' have cordially invited you on board ship for a group photo shoot for the CENTRE PAGE SPECIAL.(Bikes included).

This is going to have to be arranged when you can all agree on a date, early next year, between April/May.

Please PM me with your agreements/opinions/ideas.
Speedy

I'm just saying it appears to be getting very complex.

I still don't see what the commandos on board ship have to do with the invitation to ladies, that connects to SWB.

Perhaps you have a flood of replies from the ladies. In that case I look forward to seeing the calender.

Anyway I've had my say and wish you the best of luck with whatever you do.
