Just wondering if you have plotted the route for the day into a sat nav software package yet?
If so do you have .gpx file that could be shared?

I don't know why my font looks like that... but whatever happened also blocked my IP address. :80: :)):

I do not have the route in any satnav package. Couldn't you do that yourself as I've given postcodes and coordinates?

Yup, I could and I was going to but you mentioned using sat nav, so I thought you'd also be using one and thus would have already done it.
ptolemyx wrote: Mar 31st, '22, 04:55 And as for the main ride out Saturday we'll do just one group, Me to lead with Nick as tec.
When I've finalised the route I want all the satnavs loaded.
Anyway, no problem. I'll draw up your routes for Saturday and can then make them available on here in various formats for others to use in their sat navs.

Just drawn out part 1.

Brian - could you confirm that after the second stop check (near Devils Bridge) we turn about face and go back the way we came?

I had a problem with that as well, and on the same day. Could it be that the SWB web address being listed as unsecure has a bearing?

Richard you have got the routes right with the correction that we take the Elan Valley mountain road fronm Rhayader. I will just have each way point in my satnav because I can't get it to do a route without it directing me to make u-turns when I pass the way points

Google have been playing silly buggers. First part of the first part is:-
https://goo.gl/maps/DnVyEiuepk4HzNrt7
That is the Elan Valley mountain road from Rhayader to Devil's Bridge, B4343 to A44 for Llangurig and A470 to Llandiloes.
