You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

McDonalds, or anywhere warm would have been a fine thing , we had to settle for a nice soft layby in Longdown instead.

Something like that, possibly, maybe. We can't be certain 'spoons was the source, but probably. Strangely, I wasn't affected even though we both ate and drank exactly the same things. The symptoms hit about an hour after we left Tivvy and got a bit worrying for a while; they eventually eased up enough for Roy to ride home and when I checked later, things were much improved and all is now good I believe.
Yup, I felt dreadfull for the previous 20 miles or so and just wasn't enjoying the ride like I normally do. All the time you think it'll be better in a moment. Upset tummy, disorientation just had to lie down. Should have sent the cool breakfast back.So black mark for Wetherspoons. We were partly to blame for not complaining.
The route needs to be done again Phil.

You're right on both counts: a. We should have complained and b. We'll do the same route again - but in reverse and without calling in to the Tivvy Wetherspoons.
