Yup, I felt dreadfull for the previous 20 miles or so and just wasn't enjoying the ride like I normally do. All the time you think it'll be better in a moment. Upset tummy, disorientation just had to lie down. Should have sent the cool breakfast back.So black mark for Wetherspoons. The symptoms hit about an hour after we left Tivvy and got a bit worrying for a while; they eventually eased up enough for Roy to ride home and when I checked later, things were much improved and all is now good I believe.
