All good... Few folks turning up for this, great to see.
We'll leave Bridge at 1130 and go from there. See you at the Bowd Inn Phill.
And we'll see you at the A3052/A358 Junction Roy. Will slow it down but be great to not have to stop. If all else fails, see you at West Bay.

See folks in the morning.

Hi @Red5. I'm running late this morning so won't be able to get to Bridge for 11:30 ... if I'm done in time I'll meet you at West Bay. Cheers.

Daveh couldn't make it to West Bay but seven turned up, so we had our ride with a hot drink and a bag of chips before heading back.Plenty of traffic.
Pulled into a fuel stop only to notice Nick had a puncture. Put the bike on centrestand to find the offending nail/screw/thorn; there was none. Using the garage air pump could not inflate the tyre (valve stem too short for garage air connection).
A white Knight jumped forward with his repair kit (Blackgold) and compressor, only to not be able to find a power socket on the BMW. Ok out with the crocodile clips - no power from BMW battery, Tried the power supply on Blackgold's bike (Triumph) - fine.
So it seems even if you had a repair kit with your BMW, you could only fix your puncture if a Triumph was with you.

I don't think Nick is too happy with his bike.

Everyone needs a Duncan on their ride. He got me sorted on last year's RTTB, before the Duke broke even beyond his skills.

Great to see folks today, thanks for coming out to play. And special Thanks to Duncan. Think those crock lead clips are buggered :D Though the BMW's spoke mounted valves are definitely too short. Had it before when I first had the bike. Still, first world problems. Use my bike pump at home. Bit of a fundamental design floor.

That aside, home safe n sound.
Had some great fun today, great riding and great company.

Shame you were unable to make it Dave Hicks and Rich (Jug)

Loved your new steed Alan... :-bd \m/ \m/ \m/

Catch y'all soon

Looks like you all had fun, sorry I didn't make it.
I woke up this morning aching from all the garden work I did yesterday, then saw the weather and decided it might be better to just stay in.
Might ride tomorrow instead (or Monday).

Cheers for organising and leading Saturday's ride Nick.
Coffee and cheesy chips in the mizzle at West Bay, lots of general wee extraction and admiring of Alans new steed, Roy's new-secondhand tyres and all rounded off with your puncture near Ilminster. Never a dull moment with you around eh?
Here's to the next one :-bd
