You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Glad you got out and sampled some of "our" roads. The narrow muddy goat tracks you mention tend to be included, whether by design or accident, on most of the rides we lead 🙄
Hi Ming : )

Which KTM was your favourite?
Definitely the 2015 1190Adventure. Just enough electronics to be useful (cornering ABS, Electronic suspension), but a conventional circular rev counter (I hate bar graph ones), comfy seats, good screen, 50 mpg, bulletproof reliability. Did 30k miles in just over 2 years.
If health would have allowed, I'd still be riding it.
KTM 1190ADV - sold
KTM 790ADV - sold
KTM 790 Duke - sold
Honda CB300R - sold
Honda NC750X DCT - sold
Yamaha MT-07 Y-AMT - very modern
1981 Suzuki TS185ER - very much not modern 🙄

Man that sounds really good! 50mpg??? Good grief. I haven’t figured out what mpg I’m getting but it sure as f isn’t 50. And 30k miles…that’s excellent…you must have had some epic adventures.

The 1190 is lovely engine, I get 50-52 mpg from mine which I think is pretty good considering.

My 990.. is not so good.
36-40 mpg is typical from that bike.

Hm yea the low fuel light comes on after about 130/140 miles….but I do seem to spend quite a bit of time at high RPM.
