its gutting isnt it? at least she stopped though, and you have a chance of getting the damage covered - someone knocked my kat over in exeter a few years ago, left tyre marks across the back wheel almost up to the hub where they continued to drive over it, folded the sidestand almost in half and drove off and left it there in the road :? angry didnt even come close......

if there paying for it then thats the main thing.

Bizzarely enough this happened to me many years ago at a Tire fitters (who shall remain nameless seeing as it was so long ago and im sure they would never make the mistake now)

when one of the fitters reversed a customers car over My RD125. Damaging both the car (slightly)and bike (badly).

I was in the fitters at the time pricing up tires,I thought the bloke was joking when he came in and asked if it was my bike that he had just accidently driven over.

They paid for all the damage and where very very apologetic - didnt get a free set of tires out of it though.

We??ve received the estimate to repair the damage she did.

It comes to the princely sum of £1107.

A very costly mistake.

That includes, tank, mirror assembly, fairing, clutch leaver (and mechanisms), handle bar end and indicator assembly and labour.

we delivered the estimate and she was fine with it. It was when her husband said "the last bike you hit cost us enough " (or words to that effect) we smiled knowingly!
Doh!

Going to get things in motion tomorrow and hope everything goes through quickly...fingers crossed.
