I wouldn't mind a smaller plate on the RD, as having the L plate connected to the bottom, it all hangs quite low to the road ya know. Mars bar sized plate would be cool. Wouldn't take long to get pulled, but the Plymouth cops don't really seem to bothered about bikes? I been riding around with one L plate for about 3 weeks now, along with my illegal race can, and haven't had any bother from the police.

Don't be too sure. When I was on a 125 years ago, I didn't have a L plate on the REAR, and I got pulled by a cop. Genuinely it had tore off and he accepted my apology and let me go on my way.

Put a 1-liner small plate on there with an L missing and I'm sure you'll be catching the eye of many a bored traffic cop.

No matter what size you go for, once its an illegal size you'll get the same punishment whether its 7x6 or 5x1. (30 quid fine, 0 points)

And its completly different to having no numberplate on display, even if it the size of a fag packet as long as its the correct reg number all they can do is a 30 quid fine.
But if you get pulled too many times they could take you to court and even take your reg off you (costs about 700 to get it back)

Personally had my plate (6x1.5) on for a year or so and have never been pulled (yet......)

I got a 6x1.5 plate, but dont use it now, as I use my bike as a commuter so not practical.
But I have loads of plates. I have a 7x5 and its got legal font and had no problems with that at all. and it looks a bit better.
But I got a 6x5 and a 6x4 and a legal plate as well. I think I have a fetish for plates

But I wouldnt count on that Josh. Dodgy will know what I mean,

My plates Xtra Large so's i can get more food on it

I have always changed mine to 6x8 from a good plate maker.

I have been stoped more than once and never been nicked for it.

The plate on the RD is alright anyway, doesn't look too big.
