I take it you're ok? Sorry to hear about your bike, what about claiming to get it fixed (I know you were only TPFT) but isn't there somewhere you can claim from, seeing as it wasn't your fault.

P.S You should've listened to me when i said go fully comp, i have a 6th sense about these things

Do you know... I now believe that you're an even bigger tw@t than I first thought! ... that is a seriously injured young person you're talking about... with a bit more guidance and a bit less attitude they could add to this society and not be a total parasite... either on benefit or in a uniform that some people shouldn't be allowed to wear.

Some of the people on this forum should think less of themselves than they do... and they'd still overate their contribution to the world!

Yours, seriously p*ssed off with the attitude of many here, and glad to discuss it... in person.

Ed that's really bad news.

I have absolutely no sympathy for the little tw@t that walked out in front of you - and I'm not surprised how angry you are, who wouldn't be if their bike was wrecked by someone else's stupidity. I know how pi$$ed off I was when someone mangled my bike in the car park, I'm sure if I caught the tw@t I wouldn't exactly have been polite!!!
my mind not only wanders ... sometimes it leaves completely

Bad luck Ed.

Sounds like there wasn't much you could do about it, sort of thing that could happen to any of us.

Could the guy be charged with drunk and disorderly?

sorry to hear about your bike - must've been galling especially if he found it funny. if hes admitted fault would there be any way of claiming off the uninsured losses bureau or whatever its called, or is that just for accidents involving vehicles?

Boyscout - bit unfair isnt it? facts seem to be that the guy was drunk, could have badly injured jewel through his actions, didnt care and even found it funny, and is well known to the old bill. Having just wrecked his bike, you think that Jewel should have sympathy for him??

A young person's in hospital after an RTA and the driver (a future PC) shows no regret about that - only derision - well :?:

I give up... I'm out of here. :(

Our you could look at another way.....

A young person's in hospital due to there own self-induced drunkenness and the driver is left out of pocket and lucky not to have been injured themselves. :?

Not taking sides just a different perspective.
