iv got a lil Aprilia Sonic GP 50cc Scooter, is it normal for the bike to make a big cloud of smoke wen i warm then engine up to go out for a ride? it does this whether its warm or cold weather! im not sure if its normal or not, i keep the 2stroke oil topped up and iv checked all of the things i thought it would be on my scooter! does anyone know anything i could look at or do to sort this problem out? What kind of 2 stroke are you using? Try putting in fully synthetic(if not already using it) and that might sort out the problem.

Fully synthetic ain't no good for a scoot m8 - they ain't highly strung enough

It's a 2 stroke, the smoke like hell when turned on (bit like me ) I wouldn't worry about it, embrace it and sniff it till your nose goes black.

God I loved my 50 scooter

Also I used Full synth in my moped, it doesn't matter, so long as it is for 2 strokes.
