Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Sorry, chaps by the time I got my bike running (flat battery) too late to meet up - went for a bimble around East Devon instead.

Only Tom, Ross (Sonic GSX-R) turned up. Quiet but cold ride. Road were unpredictable with slipper patches here and there.

 We must have crossed somewhere - I went for a spin down to Chudleigh Knighton and back up the Teign Valley road ......... quite treacherous in places, very unpredictable surfaces though probably partly my fault as the bike still has a pair of Pilot Race H2's fitted and they look more like cut slicks

Tried out my Vid-Cam mount ....... think I'll have to re-fit the clear screen. It shoots OK through the black one, but the sides/top are bleached and the reflection of the rev counter is annoying. Now to find a "best value" setting for downloading and a freebie vid hosting site :D
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

are you using a standard camcorder as i have been using a separate 'bullet camera' mounted on the fairing feeding back to a camcorder in a bumbag. the results are pretty awesome!

Fantastic ride out again. Cheers guys. Bit knackered as I've had a hectic few days but 15 minutes in to the ride and I couldnt get the grin off my face. Roads were a bit slippy in places but that just serves to focus the mind and make you smooth. Roll on the summer!

This is what I use

http://www.sony.co.uk/ShowProduct.do?si ... =DCR-HC40E

It gives a very good, steady shot but suffers from having to shoot through a black screen. I like the idea of the remote cam, but at the moment have other mony priorities :?

An easy fix is to cut down and fit the original clear screen I have :)

Putfile.com is good for hosting video files, signup and you'll get 25MB per file worth, Should give you a easy 10mins at watchable quailty.

I use Windows Movie Maker with 512k Broadband quailty, Works well.

Just tape your mobile on the front and bore your mates down the pub like I do.
