nice bikes mate!

yh theres a few lanes about, just get out an OS map and look for green or red ++++++++ you can ride on those to your hearts content, have fun off road witht those tires though lol

they did ok on the moors... :P and i remember what knobblies were like on the road.

exactly!! power slides ect, only done them off road so far as dont fancy forkin out for new tires yet lol

I'll probably have just under a grand to spend on a 'tard for the winter season. I dont really want to ride my SRAD in the lovely english winter (its polished and prone to rusting).

Any recomendations? I havent got a clue about motards :S

any really - get whatever you can for your budget...

unlike sportsbikes they actually look good brand new, muddy or scuffed - it does not matter.

where do you live again - get yourself down for a test ride.

JD racing leant me their 640 Supermoto Prestige recently when mine was in for a service, great fun even in the wet - just don't know why they have not taken off like in France.

Slightly off topic but dirtbike on road related:- Has anyone ever ridden with a Michelin rear trials tyre on the road, it's grippy as but the sidewalls roll so bad that the rear of the bike is constantly 6-8" inches out of line even when going straight - problem is that even when you shut the throttle it doesn't always come back. Looks cool though.

Yep, but will also step out when you brake - dodgy if you're not used to it.

i use AC10's at the moment, but next summer i might try a trials rear
