If your playing with the Turbo cider and not being very serious about it. Just use something that can hold 4 litres of fluid and cover top tightly with something like a plastic sheet.

You don't really want any bad air gettin into the fluid and giving it a bug of some sort that will make it go off. But it will need to be able to let off some steam if all gets too much inside.

Steralize useing steralizing tablets or boiling water if all else fails.

Look at the pic that Mondy has posted and you will see an airlock on top which is half filled with water. This lets air out but not in.

Don't go worrying too much with the cider as it won't be fermenting too
long.

Another great brewing site if you want to get serious

Won't be bothering with the cider again as its too hard trying to get the right sweetness with the amount of sugar to add. Very strong and cloudy though :?

But how cheap you can buy cider for it ain't worth it unless your making loads.

Wine kits i buy from the HOMEBREW STORE in Londis on Exeter quay. Range from £25 to £60 for 25 lts depending on quality.

If you buy the £30 conniesur kits (4 week kit) it will work out a £1 a bottle. When complete, you can drink it right away but i have just drank a bottle that is 4 months old and is gorgeous. Needs to mature for at 3 months really to get right taste.
