If it is and coming upto the 1st 500-800mile service then it's just basic oil change and a check over to make sure everything is tight.

yeh if its a new bike it should cost next to nothing for the 500 mile service.

I'd be in two minds to pay £70 ph for a top notch mechanic to look at my bike but i certainly wouldn't pay a cowboy at GT's that and end up with a worse bike/situation then when i gave it to them

I thought the warranty only needed a competent mechanic to do servicing to keep it valid? If that's the case, any bike garage can do it, don't narrow your self to just suzi dealers

needs top be fitted by a suzuki trained machanic, who uses genuine parts. thats it really. dont even need a suzuki traind mechanic. just for the warrenty side. got it booked in at gt's fot sat. 70 just for labour then parts ontop. not impressed. but got to be done i guess. gonna check the bike before it goes in and out. make them aggreee that its mint. no dents or dinks. and if its got anything on it wen it gets back im gonna kick off big time.

you get plenty of advice about not going to gts...

about it should not cost that much...

about it not affecting the warrenty...

yet you still book it in to gts - to pay over the odds and have some nonce fcuk with you bike when you have plenty of other options.

Too true, why bother asking in the first place if your only gonna go and book it into GTs anyway!?
