To be honest I didnt do the mega ride cos its a ball ache on an R6 but maybe if we changed our perspective a little bit then everybody could be happy. Or at least mildly pleased!

Look at the mega ride as just a big ride out with your mates. Awesome isnt it. Everyone has a ball. I met up with loads of people on the Hoe and had a laugh. Even ended up on a ride out the following Wednesday with a mate I hadnt ridden with for years cos he was at the mega ride.

All the public I saw walking round were smiling and in my opinion the general perception of bikers was improved a little that day for most people.

Now, if all the above is true and a little bit of money is raised for charity isnt it a good thing? I'm not denying anyone a chance to have a bit of a moan but lets keep it for negative crap. I will probably never do the actual ride but complete respect to the people who give up their own free time and effort to organise such a prestigious and well thought of event.
