Actually - the brick for the toilet isn't so silly as it sounds. For anyone with a water meter - have you got a hippo bag? Well worth getting if you've got an older loo, cuts down the amount of water used to flush.
Hippo bags are free from SWW. The prob i had was when i heard about them and then phoned to order one they didn't know what i was on about. I was calling it a Rinosrious (Rino) (however its spelt) Bag and the women didn't have a clue.
But yeah deffo works as it doesn't allow so much water into system to be waisted on flush.

Yeh cos then you get paid to have one rather then paying to have one
Well we've just had our first bill over a quarter since being on a meter. It is etimated but it's £39.35 which over a year is £157.40 That's a saving of £457.47
So thanks to all those who recomended us going to a meter, you've saved us loads
