I once spent 10mths as an instructor, and must say it was probably the most enjoyable job I've ever had .... unfortunately it didn't pay enough for me to live on though, so when reality bit I went for something that actually allowed me to live :roll:

Perhaps the rules have changed, but I didn't have to go through the full Cardington route, and was a certified DAS instructor under the affiliation of the "school" I worked for (Bridge :oops: ), monitored and checked by a DAS inspector.

If you are looking for part time work, try contacting some local training schools and see what they say :?

There are other ways of helping out if you want to "put something back" - there's a charity group that transport blood, riders for health, local air-ambulance fund raising, etc., :D

any idea on what this on is? My current second job is driving the Out of Hours Doctors around Wiltshire. It has its purks but im in a car :(

I want to quit the the out of hours as have done it for about 7 years. I do saturday night 23-08 2 on and 2 off.

Its not the same now the Green lights have been removed from the cars! Great fun overtaking a police car lol....
