Well, I have managed to get loads of quotes and now at:

£179.61 for TPFT (£200 excess) with adrian flux
£323.00 for Fully comp. (£175 excess) with norwich union

For a bike worth £1600 and has a few cosmetic mods and they make no difference to the policy. I am not sure if fully comp is actually worth the extra £140?

I would prefer to keep my no claims bonuses if I damage it I can sell the bike parts separately.

the fully comp will only replace the mods in a crash and not a theft claim anyway.

go with the 3pft and save a few quid for other things, like double sided tape for your trailer number plate

That is what I will do.

I am amazed that number plate turned up. Apparently, it was handed to someone in a petrol station however I never actually got petrol! I filled up the bike the night before in torquay and the car has a range of 650 miles so I rarely fill it up and filled it up about a fortnight before the trackday!

I didn't even realize the number plate had fallen off. I ran out of time to screw it to the trailer so I used sticky fixers that clearly failed!
