Ooooh, Ya bugga !! I wasn't quite expecting that   I know from personal experience how uncomfortable that can be .....  I found the only way to get comfortable was to kneel on the floor and lie on my front over a pouffe

Ah well, I'm sure Dawn is helping rub it better

Anyway, you're still a pillock - you buy a trackbike to save your road bike, then take the road bike out and bin it with the track-bike in the back of then van .....

Was worse still this morning. Will post another photo tonight if the connection doesn’t go down again. It is difficult to wipe my arse seeing you asked. Not because its painful, (some of the surface is actually numb) but because the left cheek is 2“ bigger than the right which is only 1” bigger and I cant reach round it!. Feels like a pressurised waterbed and is now spreading up to my belt line. The painful bit is the bottom 6” of my back and coccyx as I pile-drived the tarmac. Oh and similar problems with my heel and a strained neck but that’s not so bad now. Update later.

Finally inspected my leathers today and I would definitely recommend IXS and buy them again as they are hardly touched by the impact.

Unfortunately because of the back pain, the doctors wouldn’t let me take them off (even after some pleading) and they were cut off – which the leathers couldn’t resist.

So I have a set of leathers ready to be sewn back onto a cow and a set of knee sliders for sale – still like new.

I'm not surprised - it was only your *rse that hit the ground

Seriously though, whilst it seems mean, I can quite understand why they didn't want a person with a back injury going through the twisting and contorting needed to get out of a (snug  ) set of one-piece leathers before they've been able to do a full visual check to see what damage you had done.

I'd be a bit more concerned about your boots if the sole got ripped off ..... that could have been really nasty

What like the photo below.

I won’t be buying or recommending Akito to any one. :x
I know I got tagged with the bike at some point and I think my boot hit the side of the tyre that ripped it off, but its things like that that they are meant to protect you from.

youve got to have good kit with what were doing and especially the way you ride

at least the leathers did their job, well apart from having no padding for you to land on

oh yeah, did you have the camera working ?
