now go to maplins and buy a noise meter for 18£ and check what its rwading the can at. remember to stand 2foot from end of can and rev bike to about 7000 and if its under 98db you'll be fine

The only noise meter in saw in our Exeter branch Maplins was £60 :shock:

Do any of the garages you visit in Exeter Deej have one ???

no idea how accurate it is, best make sure it's atleast a few db under what that meter says just incase!

I've got a similar one that I bought a few yrs back for setting up the home cinema. Haven't used it for measuring the bike tho.

Just ordered that one Gave has mentioned from E-Bay. Bought one from a local man though on there. Will let you know how it goes :wink:
